We started this business like many others, but what sets us apart is our purpose—a purpose fueled by growth. While we create soap, we also craft a variety of other products. Our efforts extend beyond just the items we produce; they also help us manage our small expenses while saving for a bigger goal.
Driven by passion
My business didn't originate from a desire to make money; it began as a heartfelt hobby for my firstborn, Zuri. I would craft, sing to her, and shower her with love. Tragically, she passed away at 29 weeks due to stillbirth, leaving my heart shattered. I questioned God, but as my strength grew, I channeled my energy into crafting and creating various items.
I have always wanted Zuri's name to endure and to support others who have walked a similar path—mothers who want to craft or simply need a break. The purchases you make not only support me but also contribute to my vision for the Forever Zuri Wellness Center, which aims to assist mothers and women in need of guidance and support. Whether it's a 30-minute workout class or just a space to call their own, mothers today come in all shapes and sizes and deserve a small outlet.
If that means I have to craft to pay my bills and save for this mission, I will wholeheartedly do it. I want to leave this world with a legacy that inspires many, and I am determined to achieve that. While “Lee Determination” is my Facebook name, being “a woman of purpose” is my true calling. If I could have your help and support to assist other women, we can support kids because the mother is strong. We can leave a legacy for those who are lost and need a listening ear as mothers experiencing loss and stillbirth. We can also, on weekends, build relationships with mothers and kids through family days and give our time and love to make an impact and help the world. We would also help to reduce the rate of crime by giving mothers a sense of growth—mentally, physically, and financially—by allowing them a few minutes to shine, to empower, and to build and grow. It would change the narrative of what we are going through as Americans based on all the negativity in the world. Help me build this in a world that is detached, where kids are unattached, and in a place where mothers can shine and glow and be what we all should be: loving and getting the help we need to build a future for the American people, no matter what race, color, or size.
