How do I make my handmade soap last longer?

Because Forever Zuri handcrafted soap is full of natural, moisturizing oils and glycerin, it is much creamier and softer than mass-produced "detergent bars." To extend the life of your luxury bar:

• Keep it High and Dry: Use a draining soap dish or wooden soap deck. If soap sits in a puddle, it dissolves quickly.

• The "Dry Between Uses" Rule: Store away from direct shower spray. Letting it dry completely can make it last twice as long!

• Use a Washcloth, Loofah, or Soap Saver Bag: Rubbing directly on skin uses excess product. A sisal soap saver bag or washcloth builds a rich, bubbly lather with less soap.

• Cut Your Bars in Half: Cut larger bars in half and bring only one piece into the shower at a time to keep the rest bone-dry and fresh!

Is handmade soap better than store-bought soap?

Absolutely. Most store-bought "soaps" are synthetic detergents that strip skin oils. Forever Zuri soaps are handcrafted using both Cold-Process and Hot-Process methods with clean, hormone-free bases, 100% pure cold-pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil, and raw Mango/Shea Butters. We use zero cheap palm oil or synthetic detergent fillers.

Why does my soap look "sweaty"?

Because our soaps are rich in natural glycerin (which pulls moisture from the air to hydrate your skin), they can develop tiny beads of moisture in humid weather. This is totally normal and disappears as soon as you start using the bar!

• Scented Nighttime Salve: Keep below the neck! While deeply nourishing for body chafing, rough elbows, knees, and underarms, it contains active essential oils (Peppermint, Tea Tree) that are fantastic for the body but too intense for delicate face and eye skin.

  How do I use a "Salve" versus a "Lotion"?

  Lotions are lighter and absorb quickly for everyday hydration. Salves are thicker, anhydrous (waterless), oil-based treatments designed to create a protective barrier—perfect for dry elbows, cracked hands, heels, or friction areas.

  Does this product cure skin conditions or bacteria?
