This website is operated by Forever Zuri Soaps & More ("Forever Zuri," "we," "us," or "our"). Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Forever Zuri Soaps & More. By visiting our site, purchasing physical goods (handcrafted soaps, salves, lotions, deodorants, custom sublimation apparel, or holiday gift boxes), accessing our digital downloads, or using our services, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following Terms of Use and all incorporated policies.

We reserve the right to update, change, or replace any part of these Terms of Use by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes.

2. Product Safety, Allergy & Usage Disclaimers

A. Handcrafted Natural Variations

Our cosmetic products are handcrafted in small batches using raw botanicals, natural clays, beeswax, and unrefined plant oils. Please allow for slight, natural variations in color, swirl pattern, shape, weight, and scent intensity between production batches. These visual differences are natural characteristics of artisanal production and do not constitute a product defect.

B. Severe Allergen Warning (Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Seeds & Botanicals)

Our handcrafted body care products are formulated with unrefined plant oils and seed/nut butter (including sweet almond oil, coconut oil, shea nut butter, and walnut oil).

  • Shared Facility Notice: Products are formulated and hand-poured in a studio facility that processes tree nuts, peanuts, seed oils, and botanical extracts. Cross-contact between natural ingredients may occur.

  • Customer Responsibility: Customers with severe food or contact allergies (including peanut, tree nut, seed, or latex allergies) MUST review all product ingredient listings prior to purchasing and using any product.

  • Mandatory Patch Test: Perform a patch test by applying a tiny amount of product to a small area of skin (such as the inner wrist) 24 hours before full use. Discontinue use immediately if irritation, redness, or discomfort occurs.

C. Safety & External Use Disclaimer

  • For External Use Only: No Forever Zuri products are edible or safe for human or animal ingestion. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid direct contact with eyes.

  • Bathtub & Shower Slip Warning: Certain soaps, scrubs, and salves contain natural plant oils and raw butter that may cause tub, shower, or tile surfaces to become slippery. Use extreme caution when entering and exiting bath or shower areas.

D. General FDA Statement

The statements made regarding our physical products have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Our products are cosmetic in nature, handcrafted using traditional methods, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, hormonal imbalance, or medical condition. Do not apply to open wounds, severely broken skin, or freshly shaved skin tissue.

3. Medical & Botanical Safety Disclosures

A. General Medical Disclaimer

The content on this website is provided for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice. If you are pregnant, nursing, treating a medical condition, or taking prescription drugs, consult a physician before using topicals containing concentrated essential oils or bioactive botanicals.

B. Waterless (Anhydrous) Product Care Disclaimer

(Applies to Deodorant Sticks, Botanical Salves & Anhydrous Balms)

Our premium deodorants and skin salves are 100% waterless (anhydrous) and intentionally formulated without synthetic biocides or chemical preservatives. Because mold, yeast, and bacteria require water to thrive, these containers must be kept completely free of moisture.

  • Dry Application Required: Do not apply anhydrous products to wet or soaking skin straight out of the shower; ensure skin is 100% clean, dry, and cool before swiping or applying.

  • Storage: Store tightly capped in a cool, dry place. If the product container becomes contaminated by water (e.g., dropped in a bath or sink), discontinue use immediately. Forever Zuri is legally insulated from product degradation, texture shifts, or contamination caused by consumer water exposure.

C. Botanical & Phytoestrogenic Safety Disclosure

Forever Zuri products leverage the natural power of unrefined plant extracts and pure essential oils (such as Lavender, Tea Tree, or Clary Sage). Certain botanicals contain natural, plant-based phytoestrogens. Individuals who are pregnant, nursing, treating a hormone-sensitive condition, or undergoing endocrine therapy should consult their healthcare provider prior to introducing concentrated botanical topicals into their daily routine.

D. Mechanical Exfoliation Warning

Formulations containing active mechanical scrubbing agents (such as whole poppy seeds, mineral salts, volcanic ash, or ground cornmeal) are designed strictly as specialized treatment polishes.

  • Do Not Use Daily: Limit mechanical scrubbing bars to two (2) to three (3) times per week maximum.

  • Over-Exfoliation Risk: Over-exfoliating can cause microscopic skin tearing, strip the skin mantle, trigger irritation, or cause a temporary "rebound odor spike" due to sweat gland overcompensation. For daily cleansing, always use our smooth, non-textured baseline soaps.

4. Seasonal Temperature Protocols & "Cold-Rest Fix"

Our natural butter products contain zero synthetic hardening chemicals or chemical stabilizers.

  • Warm Weather / Transit Softening: During warmer months or hot transit conditions, natural body butter and deodorants may soften or melt slightly. If your product arrives softened, place the unopened container upright in a cool room or refrigerator for 20–30 minutes to firm back up before opening or using.

  • Cooler Months / Cold-Rest: Exposure to cold winter temperatures during transit may temporarily firm or stiffen products. Allow items to sit at room temperature for 1 hour to return to ideal application consistency.

  • Customer Care Failure Waiver: Whipped volume may shift slightly if melted, but total product weight remains unchanged. Forever Zuri is not liable for product spilling or texture changes resulting from a customer failing to follow temperature-restoring instructions, leaving packages in sun-baked mailboxes, or overheating products. Softened or shifted products that reset properly do not qualify for refunds, replacements, or returns.

5. Order Processing, Shipping & Holiday Q4 Cutoffs

A. Standard & Custom Processing Times

  • Standard Orders (Soaps, Jewelry, Salves, Body Care): Ships within 3–5 business days.

  • Custom Sublimation (Shirts & Tumblers): Please allow 7–10 business days for hand-pressing and quality testing.

  • Holiday Gift Boxes & Bundles: Orders containing custom sublimation items alongside standard items will ship together once all custom items in the bundle are completed (7–10 business days). Split shipments are not provided unless purchased separately.

  • Pre-Order Curing Soaps: If your order contains a curing soap, the entire order will ship together once the soap is fully cured and safe for travel.

B. Shipping Rates & Q4 Carrier Peak Surcharges

Calculated shipping rates at checkout reflect real-time carrier rates based on package weight, dimensions, and delivery zip code via third-party partners (USPS and UPS via Pirate Ship). Standard carrier rates automatically include seasonal Q4 peak demand surcharges imposed directly by postal carriers between October and January. Forever Zuri does not set or mark up carrier surcharges.

C. Holiday Cutoff Dates & Transit Disclaimers

Published holiday order cutoff dates are recommended guidelines based on carrier estimates to assist with pre-December 25th delivery.

  • Carrier Liability Waiver: Once a package is handed over and scanned into carrier custody (USPS or UPS), transit times, seasonal postal volume bottlenecks, weather disruptions, or carrier routing errors are outside of our control. Refunds or replacements will not be issued for carrier transit delays.

D. Address Accuracy & Rerouting Fees

Customers are strictly responsible for verifying that the shipping address (including unit/apartment numbers) entered at checkout is 100% accurate. If a package is returned to us due to an invalid or incomplete address provided by the customer, the buyer must pay all re-shipping postage costs before the item is re-sent.

E. Damaged Packages & Claim Requirements

All orders are inspected before leaving our studio. If your order arrives physically damaged in transit, you must contact us at sales@foreverzurisoaps.com within 48 hours of delivery. You must provide clear photo evidence of:

  1. The damaged product(s).

  2. The outer shipping box/mailer with the shipping label visible.

  3. Inner packaging materials. Failure to provide photo documentation within 48 hours voids carrier insurance claim processing.

6. Returns, Refunds & Digital Product Policy

A. Physical Goods Final Sale Policy

Due to the personal hygienic nature of skincare, bath, and body care items, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds. If you receive an incorrect item due to a packing error on our part, notify us within 48 hours of delivery for resolution.

B. Digital Downloads & Intellectual Property License

  • Final Sale: Due to the instant delivery nature of digital files (guides, templates, graphics), all digital download purchases are final, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable once accessed or downloaded.

  • Personal License: Purchase of a digital product grants you a single-user, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal use only.

  • Prohibited Sharing: You may not copy, share, re-sell, redistribute, sublicense, or upload digital files to shared drives. Unauthorized distribution constitutes copyright infringement and will result in immediate license termination and potential legal action.

7. Customer Reviews, Truthfulness & Anti-Defamation Policy

We encourage honest feedback from verified buyers. However, to maintain platform integrity and protect our brand against dishonest or extortionate practices, the following terms govern all customer reviews, comments, and public feedback:

  • Truthful Accounts: Any review or public statement regarding Forever Zuri products or services must represent an accurate, truthful account of your actual customer experience.

  • Prohibition of False Statements & Libel: Users are strictly prohibited from posting false, misleading, defamatory, libelous, or fraudulent statements regarding our products, safety record, ingredients, or operations.

  • Review Extortion Prohibited: Threatening to post false or negative reviews to coerce Forever Zuri into issuing unearned refunds, free products, or special treatment is strictly prohibited.

  • Content Moderation & Civil Remedies: Forever Zuri reserves the right to moderate, flag, or remove reviews that contain false claims, offensive language, or extortion attempts. We reserve all legal rights to seek civil remedies and damages under Texas state and federal law against parties engaging in intentional defamation, libel, or review extortion.

8. Pricing, Modifications & Wholesale

  • Pricing Updates: Prices for our products are subject to change without prior notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any scent, product line, or bundle at any time.

  • Resale Restrictions: You are strictly prohibited from reselling our physical products or digital downloads on third-party channels (Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Marketplace) without express written wholesale authorization from Forever Zuri.

9. Intellectual Property

All content included on this website—including text, website copy, graphics, logos, product names, soap formulations, custom sublimation shirt/tumbler artwork, images, and digital download content—is the exclusive property of Forever Zuri Soaps & More and is protected by United States copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

10. Limitation of Liability & Consumer Misuse Waiver

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Forever Zuri Soaps & More, its owners, directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from:

  1. The use or misuse of any physical product or digital product.

  2. Failure to perform a mandatory 24-hour patch test or follow product care/storage instructions.

  3. Slip-and-fall accidents, allergic reactions, or unexpected sensitivities.

  4. Product degradation resulting from consumer water contamination or improper storage.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use and any separate agreements shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action, lawsuit, or proceeding arising out of or related to your use of this website or purchases from Forever Zuri Soaps & More shall be instituted exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Tarrant County, Texas.
